Cayde Accounting & Tax Free 15-min call

Free 15-minute catch-up call

Get ready for your call.

Your call is 15 minutes with a member of our catch-up team, at the time you agreed with us. Need a different time? Email info@caydetax.com.

  • Jot down what you know is outstanding
  • Keep any IRS or Florida letters close by

What happens on the call?

You tell us what’s outstanding, and we explain how we’d get the company caught up and keep it there. There’s nothing to sign and nothing to pay.

It’s a conversation, not a tax assessment: nothing is filed or sent to the IRS or Florida because of it.

  1. You tell us what’s outstanding

The years and filings that are behind (federal returns, Florida filings, sales tax, payroll, the books) and any letter the IRS or the Florida Department of Revenue has sent. Rough answers are fine.

  2. We explain how we’d catch you up

The order the work would be done in, starting with anything that has a deadline, and which records we’d need from you.

  3. And how you’d stay caught up

What keeps you current once you’re caught up: optional monthly bookkeeping, with the same team.

What should you have handy?

Whatever you can find easily. Bank statements are enough to start, and you don’t need to sort receipts.

Don’t cancel because something is missing. Missing records are common and usually workable. If a letter gives a deadline in the next few days, say so at the start of the call; it goes first.
  • Roughly which years and filings are behind
  • Any IRS or Florida letters, and the deadlines on them
  • The last business tax return that was filed, if you have it
  • Whatever bank and credit card statements you can get to
  • Payroll reports, if the company runs payroll
  • The company’s Sunbiz document number
  • QuickBooks Online or Xero access, if you use either

What happens after the call?

A written proposal follows, and you decide. Nothing starts, and nothing is charged, until you approve it.

Catch-up bookkeeping pricing
  1. A written proposal

The scope, a fixed quote with each outstanding year priced on its own, payment terms, the records we’ll need and a timeline.

  2. You decide

There’s no obligation. Ask anything you need to before you approve it.

  3. Work begins

The books are rebuilt for each open year, and the returns follow. Your federal and Florida business returns are reviewed, signed and filed by independent U.S. tax professionals after you approve them: e-filed wherever the IRS accepts it, and on paper for older years. Their name and IRS preparer tax ID (PTIN) appear on every return they sign.
