U.S. privacy notice and text message terms
How Cayde Accounting & Tax collects, uses and shares information from visitors to its U.S. pages, people who ask for a free call, and U.S. clients, and how its calls and text messages work.
Effective October 31, 2026
In short
- We use what you send us to answer your request, set up your free call and, if you become a client, do the work.
- We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t collect Social Security numbers on this website.
- We only text you if you’ve agreed to it. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email info@caydetax.com.
Who we are
This notice is from Cayde Accounting & Tax (“Cayde”, “we”, “us”), a bookkeeping and tax firm.
It covers the U.S. pages of caydetax.com (the pages whose address starts with /us/), the free-call request form on them, the calls and text messages we send about a request, and the services we provide to U.S. clients. A separate privacy policy covers the rest of caydetax.com. Questions about this notice can be sent to info@caydetax.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a free call. The form asks for:
- your first name and mobile number, and your email if you choose to give it;
- how far behind the business is, how it files its taxes, roughly what its annual revenue was in a year that’s behind, and whether it has had letters from the IRS or the Florida Department of Revenue;
- if you add them, a deadline from a letter and the best time to call.
Along with your answers, the form sends the page you were on; the address of the page you came from, with anything after a question mark removed; any campaign tags in the link that brought you here (UTM tags and Meta’s click ID); Meta’s browser and click cookie values, if present (_fbp and _fbc); which version of the page you saw and which topic or button you tapped; the version of the consent wording shown; and a random ID so the same request isn’t counted twice.
Your text message consent. If you tick the consent box, we keep a record of it: the version of the wording you agreed to, the page you were on and the time we received it.
Site analytics and ad measurement. Pages visited, the device and browser used, approximate location, how you arrived, and actions such as starting or sending the form. This is collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, and Microsoft Advertising tags. See Cookies and ad tracking.
When you become a client. The records you send for the engagement, such as bank and card statements, payroll reports, past returns and letters from tax agencies, along with the emails and messages we exchange.
We don’t collect Social Security numbers on this website.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and schedule your free call.
- To prepare a written proposal, and to provide the services if you approve it.
- To make the calls and send the texts described below.
- To measure and improve our ads and this website, for example to see which ads lead to requests and new clients.
- To keep the records that the law and professional rules require.
Your answers about the business (how far behind it is, how it files, its revenue range and any letters) go only to the services that handle our form submissions, email and client records. They aren’t sent to Meta, Google or Microsoft for advertising or analytics.
Where it’s stored
Form submissions are processed and stored in the United States by our service providers Netlify and GoHighLevel. Email, analytics and advertising data are handled by the providers named in this notice, which may process them in the United States or elsewhere.
Cayde’s team works remotely from outside the United States. Client files you send during an engagement are stored outside the United States, and the information described in this notice is accessed from outside the United States.
Who we share it with
- Independent U.S. tax professionals. Your federal and Florida business returns are reviewed, signed and filed by independent U.S. tax professionals after you approve them: e-filed wherever the IRS accepts it, and on paper for older years. Their name and IRS preparer tax ID (PTIN) appear on every return they sign. They receive the records needed for those returns.
- Government agencies, when you authorize a filing. The IRS, the Florida Department of Revenue and, for annual reports, the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz).
- Service providers that help us run the firm. Netlify (website hosting and form handling), GoHighLevel (our client relationship and messaging system), Google (analytics, tag management and email), Microsoft (ad measurement) and Meta (ad measurement). Meta receives your email address and phone number only in hashed form (turned into a code before they’re sent), so it can match a request to the ad that led to it. We never send Meta or other advertising platforms information about clients, including the fact that someone is a client. We also use accounting software and secure file storage for client work.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with, for example in response to a valid legal request.
We don’t sell personal information.
Tax return information
We use and share your tax return information only to prepare and file your returns, unless you sign a separate consent that names who receives it and why, as U.S. law requires (IRC section 7216). Because Cayde works from outside the United States, it asks for your signed consent before tax return information passes between Cayde and the independent U.S. tax professionals who sign your returns. For business returns this is part of the engagement letter; for personal returns it’s a separate form. We never send client information, including the fact that you’re a client, to advertising platforms.
Text messages
The optional consent box on our free-call form reads:
I agree that Cayde Accounting & Tax may contact me at the number above by call, text or voicemail, including automated messages, about my request. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
- It’s optional. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase, and you can ask for a free call without ticking the box.
- What we text about. Your request, for example finding a time for your free call.
- How often. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Opting out and help. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out. You can also opt out or ask for help by emailing info@caydetax.com.
- Sharing. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Records. We keep a record of your consent (the wording version, the page and the time) so we can show what you agreed to and when.
- Delivery. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Calls
We only call or text between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. your local time, no more than three times in 24 hours about the same request, and we stop when you ask.
Automated calls, texts and voicemails are sent only if you’ve ticked the consent box. If you haven’t, a member of our team may still call you about the request you made. Replying STOP, or telling us in any other way that you don’t want to hear from us, stops our calls, texts and emails about your request.
Cookies and ad tracking
These pages use the tools below. Each may set cookies or read similar identifiers in your browser.
- Google Tag Manager loads our measurement tags. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and actions such as starting or sending the form, so we can see which pages and ads help.
- Meta Pixel tells Meta when someone visits these pages or sends a request, so Meta can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you arrive from a Meta ad, the click ID in the link is kept in a first-party cookie (_fbc) for 90 days.
- Meta Conversions API lets our client relationship system tell Meta when a request moves forward, for example when a free call is booked. It sends the hashed contact details described above, not your form answers.
- Microsoft Advertising tags measure visits and requests that come from Microsoft (Bing) ads.
- Session storage. Our form keeps the campaign tags from the first page you visit in your browser’s session storage, so a request is credited to the right ad. It’s cleared when you close the tab.
Your choices:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The form still works without them.
- Change how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Meta ad preferences.
- Manage Google ads in My Ad Center, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Manage Microsoft ads in Microsoft’s ad settings.
- Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
These pages don’t respond to browser Do Not Track signals; use the settings above instead.
How long we keep it, and your choices
- Form submissions held by Netlify are deleted after they reach our client relationship system, within 30 days.
- Information in our client relationship system is kept while there’s an active relationship.
- Client records are kept for as long as professional record-keeping rules require.
- Consent records are kept so we can show what you agreed to and when.
To ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@caydetax.com. We may need to confirm who you are first, and some records, such as client files and consent records, have to be kept for a set time.
These pages are meant for businesses. They aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
