Pricing · What a catch-up costs
Catch-up bookkeeping + business tax filing: from US$2,500 per outstanding year.
For Florida C corporations, S corporations and LLCs taxed as either, we rebuild the books for each year that’s behind and get the agreed overdue business returns filed. You get a fixed quote in writing before any work starts, and the free 15-minute call comes with no obligation.
All prices in U.S. dollars. Prices as of September 30, 2026.
What does a catch-up cost per year?
Catch-up projects start at US$2,500 per year. Each outstanding year starts from the row for that year’s annual revenue, and your written quote sets the fixed price for every year.
| Annual revenue in the year being caught up (USD) | Starting price per year (USD) |
|---|---|
| Under $100,000 | US$2,500 |
| $100,000–$249,999 | US$3,500 |
| $250,000–$499,999 | US$4,500 |
| $500,000–$999,999 | US$6,000 |
| $1 million–$1,999,999 | US$8,500 |
| $2 million+ | Custom quote |
All prices in U.S. dollars. Taxes, penalties, interest and government fees (such as Sunbiz fees) are separate: your company pays them directly.
How to read the guide
- Each year uses its own revenue. A year is placed by what the business brought in that year, not by what it earns today, so a quieter early year starts in a lower row.
- Revenue is a guide, not the quote. A simple business with high revenue, such as a few large invoices a month, can need less work than a busy one with low revenue and hundreds of small card sales.
- Several years behind? Each outstanding year is priced on its own revenue and activity, and your free call and written quote confirm each year individually.
- Inactive years are assessed separately. A year with no business activity at all isn’t priced from this guide, and there’s no published price for it.
- No revenue doesn’t always mean inactive. A company with no sales may still have paid rent, repaid a loan or moved money between accounts, and those transactions still need recording.
- No calculator, on purpose. The guide shows where a year starts. Your price is the fixed one in your written quote, after the free call.
What does a catch-up from US$2,500 per year cover?
Each outstanding year covers the books rebuilt for that year and one federal corporate return, plus the Florida return where your company must file one and it’s in the agreed scope.
Cayde handles the bookkeeping, the workpapers and the coordination. Your federal and Florida business returns are reviewed, signed and filed by independent U.S. tax professionals after you approve them: e-filed wherever the IRS accepts it, and on paper for older years. Their name and IRS preparer tax ID (PTIN) appear on every return they sign.
In the catch-up fee, for each outstanding year
- Bookkeeping reconstructed for one 12-month business year, in QuickBooks Online or Xero
- Reconciliation of the accounts named in your proposal
- A year-end profit and loss statement and balance sheet
- One federal corporate return: Form 1120 or Form 1120-S. In the starting case, that includes up to two shareholder K-1s where they apply.
- Florida’s corporate income tax return (Form F-1120), where your company is required to file it and it’s part of the agreed scope
Not every S corporation files Form F-1120. Your quote lists the returns included for each year.
What can be added to the same quote?
If payroll, sales tax or other filings are also behind, we’ll include the agreed work in your written quote. Tell us on the free call what else is behind; there are no set add-on fees, and each item is priced for your situation in the same written quote, so one team coordinates the work.
- Historical payroll reconstruction, and the overdue payroll returns
- Preparing or correcting W-2s and 1099s
- Overdue Florida sales tax returns, and rebuilding the sales records behind them
- The owners’ personal returns, handled alongside the corporate catch-up
- Additional states, or additional companies
- Reconstruction of complex inventory, payment-processor or shareholder accounts
- Sunbiz annual reports and reinstatement assistance. You can also file these yourself with the Florida Division of Corporations: online on Sunbiz or, for reinstatement, on its paper form.
- Substantive responses to IRS or Florida notices, and arranging professional representation when it’s needed
If your company needs a professional to represent it before the IRS, that’s the job of an attorney, a CPA or an enrolled agent. We’ll tell you on the call if your situation needs one and arrange it; it may be a separate engagement.
Optional monthly bookkeeping
What does monthly bookkeeping cost after the catch-up?
It’s optional, and it starts once your books are current: from US$349 a month, in three plans set by your monthly transactions and the number of accounts. All prices in U.S. dollars.
Essential
from US$349 a month
- Up to 100 bank and card transactions a month
- Up to three bank or credit-card accounts
- Transaction categorization
- Monthly bank and credit-card reconciliations
- Monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet
- Routine bookkeeping questions by email
Growth
from US$499 a month
- Up to 250 bank and card transactions a month
- Up to five bank or credit-card accounts
- Everything in Essential
- Quarterly financial review call
Established
from US$749 a month
- Up to 500 bank and card transactions a month
- Up to eight bank or credit-card accounts
- Everything in Growth
- Monthly financial review call
How the plans work
- The transaction and account limits count across all the included accounts combined, not per account.
- Plan prices assume current books and ordinary activity. Your historical catch-up is quoted separately.
- Loans, payment processors, inventory, accrual-basis reporting or other reconciliation work may affect the quote.
- Above the Established plan’s limits, or for materially complex books, you get a custom quote.
- No automatic upgrades. If your activity outgrows your plan, we talk it through with you first, and nothing changes or costs more until you’ve agreed the revised scope.
- No contract; cancel any time.
- Your company pays for its own QuickBooks Online or Xero subscription, so the file stays in your company’s name.
Quoted separately, unless your proposal expressly includes them
- Payroll processing
- Sales-tax filing
- Income-tax returns
- Bill payment
- Receivables management
- CFO or controller services
We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
What about next year’s tax return?
Annual business tax preparation is quoted separately. We confirm the fee and included returns in writing. The catch-up covers the overdue years only.
Catch-up package
Overdue years: the return is included
For each outstanding year in your quote, the specified historical corporate return is part of the catch-up fee, not an extra charge.
Monthly bookkeeping
Future years: the return is quoted separately
Monthly bookkeeping keeps the current books reconciled and reported. It isn’t a tax filing service, so the corporate return for the current year and later years has its own quote.
With monthly bookkeeping, next year’s return starts from books that are already reconciled, rather than from another catch-up.
How does the fixed price hold?
The price in your written quote is the price for that scope, and nothing is added unless it’s discussed with you and agreed first.
You get a written scope and a fixed quote before any work starts. If something outside it turns up, such as another year, another account or a letter that wasn’t in the proposal, you hear about it, and its price, before that work begins. It goes ahead only once you agree.
Payment terms are in your proposal. Nothing is charged before you approve it.
Your written quote sets out
- The years, returns and filings in scope
- The accounts to be reconciled
- The fixed price for each year, in U.S. dollars
- Payment terms
- The records needed from you
- The timeline, with anything that has a deadline first
What isn’t in Cayde’s fee?
Taxes, penalties, interest and government fees (such as Sunbiz fees) are separate: your company pays them directly. All prices in U.S. dollars.
Filing stops the late-filing penalty from growing. The late-payment penalty and interest keep running until the balance is paid in full, even on a payment plan. Penalty relief can be requested by you or an authorized representative; whether it’s granted depends on the company’s filing history and circumstances, so no one can promise it in advance.
Cayde doesn’t take on audits, reviews or other attest work, tax-debt settlement or collection defense, or businesses that report only on the owner’s personal return.

Is the price per year or per project?
Per outstanding year. Each year that’s behind is priced on its own from the starting guide, and your written quote shows the fixed price for every year, and the total, before any work starts.
Why is pricing based on revenue?
Because a year’s revenue is a fair first sign of how much there is to record. It’s only the starting point: the fixed quote depends on transaction volume, the number of accounts, the condition of the records and the filings needed, which is why a simple year with high revenue can need less work than a busy year with low revenue.
What if my revenue was different each year?
Then each year starts from its own row. The guide uses each historical year’s own revenue and activity, never today’s revenue for every year, and your free call and written quote confirm each year individually.
Do you charge for years with no activity?
A year with no activity is assessed separately, and there’s no published price for it; your written quote shows how each quiet year is handled. A year with no revenue isn’t automatically inactive, though: if the company paid bills, repaid a loan or moved money between accounts, that year still has books to rebuild.
Is monthly bookkeeping required after the catch-up?
No. It’s optional, and the catch-up is quoted on its own either way. If you’d like the books kept current afterwards, plans are from US$349 a month. No contract; cancel any time.
Are prices in U.S. dollars?
Yes. Every price on this page and in your written quote is in U.S. dollars.
