Cayde Accounting & Tax (“Cayde”) is an accounting and tax firm with its head office at 330 St Mary Ave, Suite 300, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3Z5. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Cayde.

• Information you give us: your name, email, phone number and business details when you book an assessment, call, email, or become a client, along with the financial records needed to do the work.
• Information collected by this website: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

• To respond to you, schedule your assessment and provide the services you engage us for.
• To communicate with the Canada Revenue Agency and other government bodies on your behalf, only where you have authorized us to.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited this site.

Analytics and advertising tools

This website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) tags. These services may set cookies and receive information about your visit. You can limit this through your browser’s cookie settings, Google’s ad settings and Meta’s ad preferences.

Other services on this website

The booking calendar and the founder’s welcome video are provided through GoHighLevel, our scheduling system, which stores the details you enter so we can confirm and manage your appointment. The video loads only when you press play. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the maps on our contact and Winnipeg pages come from Google Maps. These services receive your IP address and basic browser details when they load.

Where information is stored

Client files, meaning the documents and records you send us, are stored in Canada. Email (including attachments), our scheduling system and some of the other software we use to run the firm, along with the website and advertising tools named above, may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us run the firm, such as our accounting software, email, scheduling and hosting providers;
• with the analytics and advertising platforms named above, which receive information about your visits to this website;
• with government bodies, where you’ve authorized us to act for you; and
• where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and professional record-keeping requirements, then dispose of them securely.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time by emailing info@caydetax.com.
